  • DONE!!!

    Ok, maybe not so done but HEY! I've written my 2000 word essay!!!! LAST ESSAY EVER!!! What's left to do: proofreading and referencing... Oh. There's iGen comments to do too. Bah.
    UGH. Where's spring? Why does it keep pouring like nobody's business? Oh yay! Daph's coming to Perth soon, catch wait to catch up with her. It's been a while!
    Hmm. I've always contemplated on shutting down this Xanga site but each time I'm about to do so, something sweet happens. Like making a new friend or having very interesting subscriptions to read.

    What's past is past. I'm glad I've moved forward. I've becomed a much stronger person. Yeah, the old Jo's back!

    this is the problem with staying in apartments or hostels:
    you cannot control the noise level
    you'd a late night, rushing your assignment or studying for exams, whatever
    you try to sleep in but only to be awoken to the sound of drill bits, hammering of walls or screamings @ 9am in the morning
    the noises just continue to pile on throughout the day...

  • YES!

    I handed up my thesis 2 days ago!!! It was a nicely binded 80 pages 'book'  I don't know how I managed to write almost 17K words but I managed to (actually that's way over the word limit, oops-a-daisy!)
    I miss going to my supervisor's room & chatting with him for an hour or so... Over my thesis & everything else.
    Ah... just 2 more assignments to go & I'm officially D.O.N.E.

  • bleah!

    i'm so sick of writing my thesis.
    my creative juices have dried up - maybe i don't even have creative juices to begin with.
    thurs, pls come faster.
    unfortunately, i can't hallelujah even after i've handed in this 80 pages binded book, which will determine 1/2 of my honours grade (yes... it's worth 50% of everything) as i've another 2 projects to go!!! worth 50% and 30%!!!
    ULGH.

    I really have to be thankful that I literally have a shoulder to cry on. Thanks my dear other half :) Probably would've died if it wasn't for your silly little jokes and games... and wipe those tears away... :)

  • The Cupcake Drama

    Ever since I gave my supervisor, Tauel & Alex cupcakes (with NO other intentions), there has been a mini drama going on between me and my other lecturer, Tama. Well, let's just say I need to bake cupcakes for our last seminar coming Monday... Just to appease the very agitated Tama soul. So, orange cupcakes, here I come. I was thinking if I should decorate the cupcakes into little piggy faces but figured I shan't risk another uproar...

    So right now, it's writing, writing and more writing. Just 1 more week before my thesis is due.How times flies... I remember mulling over the intial topic "How Mass Media affects the Economy of a Country". Sad to say, it didn't work out. I think my fingers are gonna break.

    Ok, fragmented thoughts. I can't blog properly.
